HISTORIC PROVENANCE
This piece is inspired by a tea table made in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, by Robert Harrold (American, b. England, active 1765–1792) in 1765–75. Now at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the original table reflects the refined tastes of early American furniture and has been reimagined in this versatile, modern format.
